World Alliance Ministries, Inc. functions to improve and enhance the spiritual, social, and intellectual condition of humanity through home and foreign mission, social justice and education.
Overview: World Alliance Ministries Inc. is a Christian non-profit organization that strives to meet the needs of people who need help the most. As their circumstances improve, they help others. Through financial support, housing, short and long-term mission assignments, and donations of goods and supplies WAM promotes health and wellness, education, and church-based community assistance. Founded in 1986, and re-launched in 2009.
World Alliance Ministries Inc. is a small non-profit organization founded by the Rev. E. Edward Jones Sr. and Mrs. Leslie M Alexander Jones. The focus of WAM is on improving the lives of poor and disenfranchised people. WAM seeks to create real value through measurable tangible positive change and works in conjunction with like organizations.
The late Reverend E. Edward Jones held a Bachelor of Science in Education and Mrs. Jones holds a Bachelor of Science in Education. Both worked in elementary education with classroom experience before moving to the Shreveport – Bossier area. Rev. Jones held a Master of Science in Philosophy. They had and have a strong affinity for the well-being of families, communities and churches. They were and are strong advocates for education, health and wellness. The Joneses have spent their lives serving others as community volunteers, ministry leaders, and elected officials. Adult children and grandchildren are available for interviews.
