Well Done: A Transition from Labor to Reward
THE REVEREND DR. E. EDWARD JONES, SR.Upon the election of
Dr. E. Edward Jones, Sr. to one of the highest positions within the Baptist denomination…..Dr. Jones was asked by a reporter, "Dr. Jones, where do you go from here". He replied, "To heaven!". On June 9, 2016, the beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, community leader, civil rights activist, mentor, visionary, leader, servant and pastor of the Galilee Missionary Baptist Church of Shreveport, Louisiana for over 57 years, left this earthly realm , passing from labor to reward.... from time to eternity. Our human sorrow is great but we do not sorrow as those who have no hope….
